When I was a wee sprout, I would spend much of my time reading books and dreaming about living in them. The only thing that’s changed now that I’m all mature and stuff is that I’m writing the books I dream about.

My goal is for you to laugh, dream, and discover new worlds every time you open one of my books. And if you find yourself thinking up your own stories along the way, well, that’s just the icing on the donut! Delicious, yummy chocolate icing. You’ll have to excuse me now, I hear a donut calling to me like a sugary siren calls to a starving sailor.

Hello! I’m Chryslyn! Some people say I’m basically still a kid. Maybe because I’m short. Maybe because I like things that kids like. Whatever the reason, I agree!

Back when I was a lot shorter than I am today, I loved to play characters from different movies, animations, and even characters that I dreamed up. To me, imagination is everything. It feeds my heart and brain all at once!

Now with Big Moon Books, I get to tell stories through my illustrations. Every page is an opportunity to let my imagination run wild. I’m thrilled to be on this adventure with you. See you in story world!

Hello! I’m Nica, an illustrator specializing in bringing fun and color into your book reading experience!

As a child, I always loved watching cartoons, drawing the characters, and creating stories based off of them. Who would have thought that later in life I’d get to share this passion with other kids? (And even grownups too!)

It always brings me joy to create art and even greater joy to share it to the world. And through these illustrations, I hope I’m able to bring this wonderful feeling to you!
